I’ve had my fair share of food rules and dieting. I never even considered that it may be problematic. I thought I was just being “healthy”. But then, through my discovery of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size, I came to realise that my attempts to control were actually controlling me! I learned that food shouldn’t cause you shame or guilt so I let go of the rules, got really curious, and gave myself a lot of space to rediscover what living a life well-nourished meant to me. And, do you know what….this life has a lot more joyful experiences to offer.
